Conflicting promotions are defined as promotions with overlapping configuration could result in both promotions being available to be applied to a basket, and therefore a conflict resolution would need to be applied to ensure only one promotion is applied.
Often conflicting promotions are expected and there is no reason to be concerned. It can be useful for the user to know whether the promotion has any potential conflicts.
To review the overlapping promotions, go to the Conflict Management tab and select Check for Conflicts.
Where the setting Query before saving promotions with conflicts has value of true, the promotion will be checked for conflicts when saving. Where conflicts are found the user will be prompted to confirm they wish to continue.
