Promotion Synchronization

 

Promotion details can optionally be pulled from Qixol Promo to provide additional information to the operator as they create and manage Sales Orders.  The promotion information returned can include banner image, terms of use text and extra information for the customer.

Promo ID

 

The unique ID assigned to the promotion by Promo.

 

Name

 

The internal name of the promotion.

 

Type

 

The type of the promotion.  The type will dictate whether the promotion is treated as line level (applied to targeted Sales Lines only), basket level (applied to all Sales Lines) or delivery level (applied to Sales Lines with the Is Shipping Charge field set).

 

Description

 

The description of the promotion as entered in Promo.

 

Start Date

 

The date and time from which the promotion is available.

 

End Date

 

The date and time until which the promotion is available.

 

Always Apply

 

Flag indicating whether the promotion is to be processed outside of the best deal calculations.  Promotions flagged as Always Apply can be stacked, and will be applied either before the best deal calculations or after.  For further information on Always Apply please refer to the Qixol Promo help.

 

Active Now

 

Flag indicating whether the promotion is active now.  The Active Now flag is updated during the synchronization operation.

 

Customer Prompt

 

Additional text to help the customer understand the promotion.  The text is pulled from the Promotion's Collateral information, from the attribute defined in the Integration Setup.

 

Terms

 

Additional information about the terms of the promotion.  The text is pulled from the Promotion's Collateral information, from the attribute defined in the Integration Setup.

 

Banner Image URL

 

A URL to a banner image to be displayed for the promotion.  The image URL is pulled from the Promotion's Collateral information, from the attribute defined in the Integration Setup.

 

 

The promotion information is not editable in Business Central and should be maintained in Qixol Promo.
