The Promotion Details page provides the following configuration for the promotion:

oPromotion Type Specific Configuration

The promotion type selected when creating the promotion will provide fields to control how the benefit is applied to a basket.

oMissed Promotion Details

When the promotion is partially matched to a basket it will be reported as missed (where the basket request indicates that missed promotions should be included in the response). The following fields control the information provided when the promotion is reported as missed:

Field	Description
Always exclude from Missed Promotions?	Flag indicating whether the promotion should never be reported as missed.
Fixed Sort Position (1 – 100)	Where available specify the sort position for the promotion in the missed promotions provided in the basket response.
Reporting Code	The reporting code to be supplied with the promotion when it is reported as missed.
End-user/Customer Description	Text to be displayed to the customer when the promotion is reported as missed.

oRestrict Uses of the Promotion

Further to the Promotion Criteria which restricts the availability of the promotion based on the basket request, the promotion can also be restricted based on the following fields:

Field	Description
Restrict the total number of uses?	Flag indicating whether the total number of uses of the promotion should be restricted.
Maximum total number of uses	Available where Restrict the total number of uses? is selected. Enter the total number of times the promotion can be used. A value greater than zero is required.
Restrict the number of uses per basket?	Available where the promotion is a line level promotion, or is a non-value type promotion that is configured with the Can be applied multiple times to a basket? flag selected. Flag indicating whether the number of times the promotion can be applied to a basket should be restricted.
Maximum number of uses per basket	Available where the Restrict the number of uses per basket? is selected. Enter the number of times the promotion can be applied to a basket. A value greater than zero is required.
Customer/Campaign restrictions	Select from: No restriction The promotion is not restricted for the customer or campaign code. Restrict uses by Customer The promotion is restricted to a maximum number of uses per customer reference. Restrict uses by Campaign Code Available where one or more Campaign/Coupon criteria is defined. The promotion is restricted to a maximum number of uses per coupon code. Restrict uses by Customer and Campaign Code Available where one or more Campaign/Coupon criteria is defined. The promotion is restricted to a maximum number of uses per customer reference and coupon code combination.
Maximum uses for Customer/Campaign restrictions	Available where Customer/Campaign restrictions has a value other than No restriction. Enter the number of times the promotion can be used for the Customer/Campaign restrictions.
Customer required in basket?	Flag indicating whether the customer reference must be supplied with a basket for the promotion to be applied.
When validating total or Customer/Campaign uses of this promotion, count multiple applications in a basket?	For line level promotion types only. Flag indicating whether the Customer/Campaign restrictions are counted based on the applications of the promotion within a basket, or per basket.
Permit Campaign/Coupon code re-use for all instances?	For line level promotion types only. Available where one or more Campaign/Coupon criteria is defined. When the promotion is applied multiple times to a basket, select whether Campaign/Coupon code can be re-used for all instances of the promotion. Where the flag is not selected, a campaign/coupon code is required for each instance of the promotion.
