A unique name for the promotion.  The name will be provided in basket validations, however may not be displayed to the customer depending on the integration design.

Valid From

The date and time from which the promotion is available to baskets.

Valid To

The date and time until which the promotion is available to baskets.

Description

A description to help users understand the promotion.  Only visible to users of the Promo Portal.

Your Reference

A free-text reference for the promotion.  The value is returned with basket validations when a promotion is applied or reported as missed.

Reporting Code

A reporting code for the promotion.    See Reporting Groups and Codes for further information.

The selected reporting code is returned with basket validations when a promotion is applied.

Promotion Group

A promotion group, to help categorise the promotion within the Promo Portal.

End-user/Customer Description

A description to be presented to the end-user/customer.

The text is returned with basket validations when a promotion is applied.

Always Apply?

Only available where the setting Permit layering promotions outside Best Deal is configured with a value of true.

Flag indicating whether the promotion should be processed outside of the Best Deal processing.  See Best Deal and Conflict Resolution and Always Apply (Promotion Stacking) for more information.

Only available where Always Apply? is selected.

The promotion will be applied before all best deal promotions, and all promotions applied at this point will use the original prices provided with the basket request.

After Best Deal Promotions

The promotion will be applied after all best deal promotions, and all promotions applied at this point will use the prices including discounts applied during the best deal processing.

Apply last, with all previous discounts included

Only available where Always Apply? is selected and where When to apply has value of After Best Deal Promotions.

Flag indicating whether the promotion should be applied as the last promotion, taking into account all previously applied discounts (including those of other promotions flagged as Always Apply).
